1. What Parasara Does

Parasara provides Vedic astrology tools such as birth chart creation, varga charts, dasha timing, yogas, arishta, longevity (ayu), nature profiles, career, education, marriage insights, house analysis, and compatibility matching. The app supports multiple languages and lets you save charts on your device.

2. Information You Provide

When you use Parasara, you may provide:

• Name or label for a chart
• Birth date and time
• Birth place or location search
• Optional attributes such as gender (if you choose to provide it)

3. Information Collected Automatically

• Device and app information needed to display ads (via Google Mobile Ads)
• Advertising identifiers used for ad delivery and fraud prevention
• Network requests to Google Maps Platform services (Places, Geocoding, Timezone, Elevation)

We do not require account registration and do not collect a username or password.

4. How We Use Information

• Generate and display your astrology charts and reports
• Resolve place data to coordinates, time zone, and elevation
• Save charts locally on your device for quick access
• Support rewarded ads used to unlock premium features

5. Data Storage

Chart data and preferences are stored locally on your device (using on-device storage). We do not run a backend server for user accounts. If you delete a chart inside the app, it is removed from local storage.

6. Ads and Third-Party Services

Parasara uses third-party services to provide ads and place data. These providers may collect information as described in their own policies.

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads
• We request non-personalized ads where supported

Google Maps Platform

• Places Autocomplete and Geocoding to resolve birth locations
• Timezone and Elevation APIs to improve chart calculations

7. Children’s Privacy

Parasara is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Choices

• You can delete saved charts at any time inside the app
• You can disable ads by not using premium unlocks
• You can stop using the app to prevent further data processing

9. Security

We use standard practices to protect local data stored on your device. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted in the app or on the page where this policy is hosted.
